Overview

Why Holiday in Estepona?

Estepona is one of the most genuinely charming towns on the western Costa del Sol, and one of the least over-touristed despite being just 30 minutes from Marbella. Known as the “Garden of the Costa del Sol”, it has invested more than almost any other municipality in creating a beautiful, liveable and visitor-friendly environment.

The old town is a revelation, flower-filled pedestrian streets, whitewashed houses decorated with hand-painted azulejo tiles, excellent tapas bars and a pace of life that feels genuinely Andalusian. The famous Orchid House, the extraordinary street art murals covering dozens of buildings, and the charming working marina all add to an atmosphere that is unique on the coast.

Estepona is also the golf capital of Europe's golf capital. The surrounding area contains some of the continent's finest courses, including the legendary Valderrama, host of the Ryder Cup, within an easy drive. For golfers who also want beaches, luxury villas and authentic culture, Estepona is simply unbeatable.
