What makes Fuengirola particularly special is the Cercanías train connection, a direct commuter train runs to Málaga Airport (25 min), Málaga city centre (45 min) and Torremolinos (15 min), making it the best-connected town on the Costa del Sol for those who want to explore the region without a rental car.
